• Where will the intern be working?
  
  
• What expectations do you have of an intern? Consider how flexible you need to be when working with young people.
  
  
• Is the immediate supervisor willing to provide instruction and direction for an intern? 
  
  
• How should the intern dress? What type of appearance standards do you require? Consider hair, clothing, shoes, and jewelry. 
  
  
• Do you have enough work to keep an intern busy? 
  
  
• Will the supervisor have time for training and providing feedback to the intern? Remember, interns are on the job to be productive.
